THe BIG [K] Wedding

I am not sure I slept much the night before...preparing and repairing for this wedding, going through my photo list and checking lights...lol! This one I knew was going to be more of a challenge for me since it was my first church wedding. And although I found the lighting to be most challenging when it changed on me three separate times, I still captured the beauty and essence of the day and the amazing love between this couple. It was sweet to watch them just be near each other, holding hands and little kisses her and there...to them I wish [MANY, MANY] years of blessings and love! Congrats you too!

[K] Dinner

What better way to begin a marriage of two families [BIG] families then with a wonderfully tasty meal, some laughs, some tears and lots of fun...

as always this couple just radiates their love it is not hard to see why. I enjoyed getting to know their families and taking lots of photos for them!! I have many fav's from this night...but I think this one best explains why so many had traveled near and far for the coming wedding the next morning!

V-Day Mini-Sessions

What fun these little mini sessions where to do this year. I got to do a lot of different sessions with each mini session and they all turned out some really sweet photos! I will definitely be offering them again next year!! This of course is one of my favs!

I Turned [30]

Thats right your photographer is getting up there...lol! Just kidding, course I think I am older then most of my clients...lol! In honor of the big 30 I got my hair cut and I am lovin it!!! This is one of my fav pics of my new do!

Trash the Dress [LEFT]

This Trash the Dress was a little more journalistic...this Bride never got the chance to be actually be a Bride, she was left before she got to wear this beautiful dress...this session was awesome therapy for her she said, to go through the emotions of being left before her big day...and to express those emotions in some beautifully emotional photographs...you can see them on my MYSPACE at http://www.myspace.com/cherishedphotography

Trash That Dress

First of all Blair is a amazingly beautiful girl and it is always so much fun to shoot with her, she goes with whatever I wanna do and never questions me no matter how crazy I get..lol. I had her climbing in trees, in mud, water, snow, over fences, trespassing...LOL! Even on a bus...and they all turned out so beautiful. I also want to give a shoot out of thanks to Dan Dolan owner of Covenant and Freakshow Tattoo for letting us shoot with his awesome painted bus...it made an fab backdrop for some great photos! Check them out downtown Fort Collins, nice guys in there and great work!!

Boudoir Uh La La...

These Boudoir Sessions have been so much fun...it has really tested me as a photographer and also as a women, it has required me to look at my photography in a different light with each women, to allow then to portray themselves in a sexy manner that they are both comfortable with and proud of in the finished product. One client said having her photographs done was liberating and in a way I believe they are, they allow you to be SEXY in a safe environment and to have fun with who you are as a women and to see how Beautiful you are in the end product! I have three more sessions this weekend so watch for lots more beautiful women to come!
