Heart Day Minis

Oh I am behind again, what can I say Valentines Day has kept me away (: The last few months have been all about the holiday about {LOVE} from Boudoirs to Family Heart Day Mnis!! I am excited to have gotten to meet several new clients for both this year and am excited at the end result! Though I do not share my Boud's I am Happy to share all the {{LOVE}} from my heart Day Minis!!

MISS {SHY}

Shy & Miss A, such cute little girls and they just get cuter every single time I see them!!! Both girls I have done as newborns and now Shy at 3 months and Miss A at 5 months smiles are bountiful with these two little ones!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their sessions & look forward to watching them grow as I continue to photograph both the girls in the future!!

The JOHNSON'S!!

These two gals contacted me before Christmas wanting to do a photo of the two of them for their mother as a gift, along with that gift also went two beautiful western frames and a gift certificate for a family session and a 11x14 print. So {{MY}} Christmas gift was getting the pleasure of shooting the whole family the first weekend of this month at a quite Stock Show!!! No matter where you are Katie & Jessica bring a smile to your face and are good for laughs, after meeting their mother I know where they get it from, this family is amazing and have been through great hardship and yet are so full of laughter, love & happiness, thank you so much all of you for allowing me to capture this moment for you and to enjoy your contagious joy!

Then there where two!

I love new babies, especially when they come attached with a {{BIG}} sibling (: This little gal gave me a run for my money, I worked hard for my smiles, but you brought her little brother in & she was all smiles!!! It just melts your heart to see how much love such a young bond can already share!! This little guy was so easy to work with and we got a lot of great pics from their session!!! Just ask their mom..lol!

{{2010}} Seniors!

Meet these two wonderful future representatives of the world (: Josh and Miss M really struck me as one very beautiful individuals & two as young adults that knew without a doubt where this world was taking them & how to get there! Both of these Seniors are to be commended for their involvement in school sports & academics!! Here are a few of my Favorites from each session!!

In with the {{NEW}} & out with the old!

2010 is upon us and well the 1st month is almost half way over! I have been busy as always & look forward to unveiling the NEW studio later this month! There have been some sneak peeks here and there on facebook as to some new props to look forward too! Also new this year is a $10 increase in my packages & CD. Wedding prices have also gone up to take into consideration {ALL} the editing I do to make each image a lasting impression! It is impotent to me to still keep my prices low so please know I take each increase into great consideration! Quality photography shouldn't have to be expensive! Remember as well, I am always willing to work with you, don't let money be the reason you don't capture those memories!

I am looking forward to some Lovely & beautiful ladies later this month for Boudoirs & lots of cuties for the Heart Day Mini-Sessions in February, don't forget about the {Lover's} Special going on as well for February, ONLY $90 for 1 hour, 1 8x10, 2 5x7's & a 10 Image CD!!! Great for Families & Couples! Could even be used for Engagement Sessions!!

There are also some new guidelines this year to make all of our lives a little bit easier. You now have 3 weeks after you receive your Proof Slide Show to pick your images, after this time they will be archived and a $15 fee will be charged to re-load them, so pick quickly! I understand life comes up so please let me know if you need more time, but I am hoping this cuts down on the lengthy amount of time sessions are sitting in the out box. To help in this process I will not be offering as many proofs, I will be selecting the best 30-50 Images & providing edits for those.

There will also be a deposit required now for clients who have no showed or canceled less then 24 hours, two times or more in a row. I hate to do this, but I feel this will eliminate this from happening further this year by doing this. A $15 deposit will be required at time of booking & will be non-refundable, if you keep your apt this will go towards your session fee, if not then it is forfeited.

I HOPE to be offering Paypal later this month as well!! So I will be taking Cash & Credit Cards soon (:

Where did 2009 go....

AS 2009 Comes to an end I most Say I am incredibly behind on my blog...lol!! It has been an amazing first year as a full time photographer! I have added so many amazing new clients as well as continued to be blessed to capture the special moments for my repeating clients!!!



I have grown so much this year not only as a professional, but as a photographer and as a person. Losing my Dad & fellow Photographer this year was a huge journey for me, and I thank all of you for your support and encouragemnt these past months. Dad's passing gave me the push to follow my dreams in a new town and to spread my wings and embark on many new challenges and endeavors, such as creating a {Sparrow Session} which is offered to terminal Cancer Fighters and their Families and being the Official Photographer for Relay For Life, Fort Collins for '09! There are no words to express the sorrow I have felt these past months as I have dealt with my dad's death, but knowing I am giving back even in a small way makes his FIGHT worth it!!



So if 2009 was so wonderful what can 2010 bring you ask?? BIGGER and BETTER things to come!!! The studio is getting a face lift as we speak! My original logo will be making a come back in a big way and will play a large role in my marketing materials for 2010!! I will be offering a lighter two tone gray background, as well as another painted background and five solid colored backgrounds!! The studio is being arranged to be more open and easier to move about in and many great new props will be added!! I will be working with two new artists this year, one will be creating hats and cocoons for me the other bows! And I will also be offering the benefit of a second shooter and an assistant for weddings and large family Sessions!!



What you can expect to stay the same is GREAT quality for less, photography should be affordable and priceless at the same time. I will be adding a few more Mini-sessions and at least one special every month. I encourage you to keep an eye on your e-mail and mail box and book quickly for any moments we can't miss! I am already booked for May 2010! I will be offering Valentine's Day Mini-Sessions & Boudoir Sessions in January!! And L.O.V.E. Sessions for an inexpensive Engagement or Couple session you won't want to miss out on for February!



I wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and a start to a wonderful New Year! I will start taking apts for 2010 starting January 3rd! The first 10 people that book will receive a FREE 10x13 with their session!!
